COURSE STRUCTURE: In this program, you will acquire the skills to create designs utilizing color, materials, and techniques in textile printing and weaving. The course promotes ‘sustainable design,’ exposing you to contemporary and forward-looking textile design environments. You will explore the concept of being a designer in both present and future contexts by engaging in innovative projects that stimulate your creative imagination.

VS’ is a prefix for all courses of the Department of Visual Studies
The first number refers to the year: 3, first year; 4 second year; 5 third year; 6 fourth year; the final number 1refers to semester one; 2 to semester two; the suffix denotes the area of specialization a particular course is offered from, regardless of the specialization of the student taking it, as follows:-
‘Arch’ is Architecture; ‘DM’ is Design and Media Arts; TD’ is Textile Design; ‘ID’ is Industrial Design; ‘FA’ is Fine Art; ‘IA’ is Islamic art ‘C&G’ is Ceramics and Glass. Compulsory courses do not carry a suffix.
